Dustin Schaan is an entrepreneur, veteran, husband, and dad. In 2012, Dustin joined the United States Air Force with an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) contract. After graduating from Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal school, Dustin received orders to Okinawa, Japan, Kadena Air Base, where he spent most of his time rendering safe and disposing of WWII unexploded ordnance. He also met Andrea-Anna—his future wife and mother to four boys.

After returning to the States, his dedication to his family led him to Black Optix Tint. Black Optix Tint allowed him the freedom to spend more time with his family. Working side by side with Andrea-Anna, the two are inseparable.

Dustin's approach at Black Optix Tint goes beyond just tinting windows-it's about providing a tailored experience for each customer. With his EOD background, he understands that no two situations are alike. Every vehicle requires a unique touch, and he takes pride in delivering that attention to detail.

He is known for his love of cooking and an even greater love of eating.

He spends much of his free time in the kitchen, teaching his four boys the importance of good food.
